I was very excited when I woke up this day because I was going on my first aeroplane ride. When the pilot started the engine for take-off, an ear-splitting roar startled me. Staring down through the whirring blades of the airscrew at 10,000 feet I was stunned by the beauty of the land, miniscule people the size of ants we walking around. Sadly then the pilot gestured and started to descend for a landing. When the aeroplane finally came to a standstill my head was spinning.
